According to the director, the film does not present Komitas, but his "Great Silence". The hero of the film is the modern writer, university lecturer Edgar Novents, who is obsessed with the idea of ​​making a film about Reverend Komitas. In order to give truth to the novel, the hero tries to go through the four paths of suffering of his literary character[4]. Relying on historical facts, archival materials, psychological hypotheses, the hero tries to reveal the Parisian period of the biography of Reverend Komitas, to reveal the mystery of the last years of the great Armenian's life in the Ville-Jouif prison.
