In 1977, in the capital of Soviet Armenia, Yerevan, the most daring and high-profile bank robbery in the history of the USSR took place. Two brothers, Nikolai Kalachyan and Felix Kalachyan, had long studied the cash transfer system of the State Bank (Gosbank).
