01-99 (1959)

Collective farmers and grape growers send one barrel of cognac to the local winemaker Poghos Poghosyan for testing. The problem is that this important task was entrusted to Garsevan, a cognac lover, and on the way, slowly trying the burden entrusted to him, he gets drunk to the point of insensitivity and falls on the side of the road. A young couple passing by thinks that the man lying on the side of the road was a victim of an accident. Garswean can't get two words out, but mumbles "01-99", and the youths decide that this is the license plate number of the car that hit him (it's actually the scientist's phone number). Young people go to the police. A mess begins.
