The Great Patriotic War. Teacher Tatyana Belkina goes to see her husband in the hospital. But there in front of her is an unfamiliar man, her husband’s namesake. This man is blind. He mistakes Tatyana for his wife, and she, unable to disappoint him, remains in the hospital.
