Sirty ergum e (1957)

In the pre-revolutionary years, Master Gharib, fleeing a bloody massacre, left Armenia for one of the towns on the Balkan coast. The entrepreneurial spirit characteristic of a lively port town also took hold of Gharib. Together with his fellow countryman Gabriel-aga, he decided to open a tavern. But trouble happened: little Karen, Garib’s son, went blind. Gharib spent all his money on his treatment, which was unsuccessful.
